The year my dear Mother was born. This looks like a fine home for a Park Ranger. :D

It would be PERFECT for a home...especially with the view from there!! =D It's incredible!! I'm glad this photo brought back sweet memories of your mom. 1933 was even before my dad was born. =)

My Pappy is healthier at 90 than most folks are at 50. I love my Pappy. I know he will not be here much longer, but while he is, we are gonna have more fun than either of us can stand. :D

It's actually a very old ski lodge at the very summit of Mt. Spokane. It's empty and there's a huge stone fireplace in the big gathering room for skiers to warm up. =)

Oh yes...it's PERFECT for that, especially since it's so tranquil up there and hardly anybody is around it.

So, is it a place that you can rent or something?
Not that I would ever be able to, or even get down that way.
Just curious about it. :D

Nope...it's completely open to the public. The Washington State Park system maintains it. There's nothing inside this building but a few picnic tables in a huge room with that fireplace. It's nothing more than a warm get-out-of-the-cold refuge for skiers during the winter and a nice looking building to photograph during all the OTHER seasons. =)
